It's gettin' there

With all the trades working inside, we set up an awning for Catherine to relax and sit outside next to the house, complete with fake grass.



The underside of the porch is getting finished.




The plumbing has started...yea!!!!


This is the half wall that divides our bedroom from the open space down below. It stops us from falling over the edge.


With only a half wall we will get a view out our dormer window.

Ready or not we're moving!!!

A few weeks ago I realized I was in trouble. I have 3 vehicles to move to our new place, and I am the only driver at the moment. So Tim and Maryann volunteered to help out. The weekend before we moved, Tim drove Catherine's car, I drove the motorcycle and Maryann followed in their vehicle. It was a nice day and they look forward to coming back when I have indoor plumbing. Thanks again guys.




Moving day.....If you are planning a move in the future, start throwing stuff out now!!! Our moving day was last Thursday. We had so much stuff (17 years worth) it didn't all fit in the truck. They had to come back on Friday.

As you can see, out garage is very full.


My dart buddies gave Catherine and I some adarondak chairs for the porch. You can see here that Catherine approves of the chairs.


Bruce and Gabriela also came up for a visit on Saturday. Thanks Bruce for your help building the shelves for the garage. I think our stuff in the garage is multiplying!!!


Today Pat, Danny and tante Jannie came for a visit. We had a nice lunch in our kitchen.
