Poles for Solar panels

I needed to install the poles for the solar panels, but we only have 6 inches of soil, then rock, so I found this company with this neat machine that drills into rock. It was fun to watch, but it was very noisy!

They drilled 8" holes to a depth of 4ft. They were there 2 hours and drilled 8 holes.

The poles are 4" sch 40 steel poles that are 20 ft. long. They weigh over 200 lbs each, so I needed a little help from Ralph to get them in.

Now I have to level them up and cement them in.
