We received a phone call from Ralph(Lil Dipper) telling us we should come have a look at the property. There has been alot of flooding in the county and our property was very wet, and right where we were going to put the house. The water you see in this photo is where the house was to built. We found a dry spot about 100 ft further into the forest and and decided the house will go there.
So, back to the driveway...make it longer! The bottom of the ridge was very wet and there was about 3ft of soil on top of the lime stone.
Twenty-two dump truck loads of stone were brought in to build the driveway up out of the wet area.
We now have a good,strong (and thick) driveway!
The house will now be located beyond the vehicle to the left.
Our driveway is now 400ft long!!(I'm gonna hate winter!)
